“Design is more simplified these days,” she explains. “Instead of overly bold statements and grandiose elements, you’ll find today’s ‘bling’ expressed in more subtle details, like an elegant piece of natural stone, or exquisite handcrafted tiles. I like to use natural substances in particular because they add texture and complexity while transcending fads or trends—they’re timeless.”
